DSS NEWS, Sirsa-Haryana, INDIA | *Dera Sachcha Sauda Organization's current chief; Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan is told to be present before court on August 25, 2017, on the basis of arguments completed on last Thursday. Special CBI judge Jagdeep Singh also issued directions to dera head to remain present in person in the court at Panchkula at 2:30pm on the day of verdict.
What was the case about?
[mks_dropcap style="rounded" size="30" bg_color="#ffa0a0" txt_color="#81d742"]A[/mks_dropcap]former female follower of Baba Ram Rahim(*DSS Cheif) had accused him of repeatedly raping her inside the dera campus and she said due to the intimidation by Ram Rahim she did not tell anything to somebody else, that's why finally she had sent a letter to punjab & haryana high court in April 2002 alleging sexual exploitation against Baba Ram Rahim. So when that anonymous letter circulated in Punjab-Haryana high courts, Haryana Court directs sirsa district and sessions judge to conduct an inquiry about the case.

↪ 24 September 2002: After inquiring the case about by Haryana Court, it hands over the case to CBI as their report was indicating about sexual exploitation.
↪ December 2002: When CBI made a check into the matter it sue the dera head under rape case by giving the reasons of criminal intimidation and acts intended to insult modesty of a woman.
↪ July 2007: A chargesheet is prepared & filed against dera head.
↪ August 2008: Now here the trails starts after framing of charges.
↪ August 17,2017: At last point all the arguments are ordered to close and August 25 is decided for pronouncement of final verdict.
In the 18 to 20 hearings held in the past one month, he has appeared very rarely, as his counsel has been seeking exemption on health grounds. - said HPS Verma, counsel for the CBI.

From the politics group, Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma, former Minister of Himachal Pradesh and BJP MLA Rajiv Bindal, BJP disciplinary committee chairman Ganeshi Lal and others, reached Sirsa on Wednesday night to congratulate Baba Ram Rahim on completing 50 years of his life in serving humanity and mentoring the people about real truth of life by giving them method of meditation.
